Eve is how you work with Rever. Rever calls her your agentic finance manager: one accountable coordinator who understands the business, allocates work across the ledger and keeps important financial issues moving. She sits above the fifteen specialist agents, gives them the context they work from, and brings their findings to your team. She has four duties and a short list of things she cannot do.
What Eve does
Understand your business. Eve builds and refreshes a profile of the business from cited financial and operational evidence: revenue models, growth, parties, significant ledgers and financial priorities, along with your systems, commercial terms and accounting policies. If the records are silent, she asks your team targeted questions.
Organise the work. Eve traces each financial line back to the business activity behind it and forward into the books, then drafts an SOP and a flowchart for the process. The process owner confirms it before any agent uses it. Each ledger, party and transaction family gets one lead agent and named supporting agents, and Eve dispatches approved duties when a new invoice, contract or ledger change arrives.
Bring decisions together. Eve sequences questions by materiality, risk, how long they have waited and how far she trusts the source, and she escalates a serious issue whatever its size. High-value opportunities, urgent liquidity concerns and failed procedure tests reach you as a linked finding with an Inbox task wherever a decision is needed.
Improve performance. Eve reviews agent output, watches for stalled handoffs and brings in Steward when a connector blocks the work. If a pattern recurs, she proposes a change to an SOP or a role and publishes it only after approval, keeping the previous version. A new agent starts as an observer, and Eve promotes what performs and demotes what does not. Describe a routine no product ships and Eve can build an agent for it in Agent Studio, in early access on Growth Pro and Enterprise.
Ask her a question, as you would an accounting AI chatbot
Eve answers finance questions from the current workpapers and Records. Ask which rebate claims are still open and why, or what moved in an expense line this month, the kind of movement a flux analysis explains. If a source is missing for part of the period, or two records disagree, she says so and names the gap. Rever puts it this way: she explains "uncertainty, conflicts and coverage gaps rather than presenting an assumption as a conclusion."
What Eve cannot do
Eve coordinates the work, and she does not replace a specialist's conclusion or your approval. She cannot approve her own proposals, create invoices, post journals, move money or bypass the agent responsible for an action. Journal prepares entries and invoices, and after a person approves them in the Inbox, approved entries come back as an import file your team loads. A request to a vendor or a customer waits for your Inbox approval too, and Eve keeps the reply in Records.
